 Tango,
fabulous food, fine wine and exotic culture! Our journey begins when
we land in Buenos Aires, birthplace of the tango and home to
ASLANTRENDS, where we will enjoy five star accommodations in
the fabulous European-style neighborhood of Recoleta. Our hotel,
The Hotel Meliá Recoleta Plaza Boutique, will serve us a bountiful breakfast buffet each
morning as part of the tour. Located right in the heart of the
shopping and restaurant district, we will find it easy and
convenient to explore the history and charm of Buenos Aires on
foot. While in Argentina we will tour the state-of-the-art mills
of ASLANTRENDS, manufacturers of some of our very favorite
yarns where we will see them emerge from conception to
completion!
Nicky will teach from her soon-to-be-released book
for Aslan titled, Enchanting Collection.
Later in the week we will ferry to Montevideo to visit our
friends from
Malabrigo, creators of the wildly popular hand-dyed Malabrigo Merino, Sock, Twist and Rasta. The artisans will give
us a "hands-on" tour of their studios where will will learn to
dye some merino ourselves! Our hotel in Uruguay is right by the
beach, giving us a gleam of that South American spring sunshine!

Registration FormBack in Argentina we will explore the tango, enjoy dinner at an
authentic Argentinean steakhouse and just take in the flavor of
a South American city.
Price is $1450 per person (based on double occupancy; airfare is
booked separately) and includes all hotels, breakfast each
day, Nicky's classes, transportation to and from Uruguay, Tango
Night and a Steakhouse dinner. Space for the Great South
